DESIGN YOUR CUSTOM VAN

First and foremost, we want to get to know you.  We want to know what makes you feel alive, what puts pep in your step, and of course, what your van will be used for!  Once you've familiarized yourself with our site, our conversion style, and FAQ's, we'll kick things off with an open email dialogue to establish what your custom van conversion entails and make sure we're a good fit for each other.  Top to bottom, inside and out.  We'll talk components, layout options, and explore the possibilities of your budget and our capabilities.  

Once we have a solid game plan for your customized van, we'll collect a $5,000  deposit to secure your spot in our build calendar.  We'll also sign contracts to finalize your van conversion timeline, budget and layout. From here you're all locked in!  

Once these items are completed we can also assist in finding a van for you if needed.  We work closely with Mercedes-Benz and have access to vehicle inventory before it leaves the factory floor.  For some, finding the vehicle can be the most daunting part of the process. Our expert staff can hand pick vans for you that match your color and comfort preferences and advise on features to avoid to save you money.

The fun part!  As a continuation of our initial emails, we'll walk you through all of the components and features that will be included in your build and answer any questions you may have along the way.  About one month before your build kicks off we'll have you visit our shop for a final in-person design meeting where you'll choose all of the finishes for your build which includes everything from the flooring to the cabinet materials, your upholstery and even your fixtures. Once your van is dialed in, we collect the first payment for procurement which is 50% of your final invoiced amount.

Once your van is in our hands the magic really starts happening! As soon as your van is dropped off we jump right in to the build process.  Throughout the build you'll receive photos and updates as your van conversion comes to life.  We typically save the final reveal for pickup day but if you'd like to see your cake before you eat it, we can share early photos of the finished product too. 

Your final balance will be due two weeks prior to pickup to ensure that funds have time to clear before you begin your journey.

When you come to pick up your new home on the road, we'll give you the rundown on every feature and component we've added, and of course toast a frosty beverage.  This usually takes about two hours depending on the amount of features in your build.  Once you feel confident with all the systems and features, we'll see you on your way and wave you off into the sunset!

You're one of us now!  Here at Cascade Van we're big on community and that's really what we're building (aside from awesome vans)!  One of the best parts of vanlife is the people you meet and the friendships you forge along the way.  For us, that bond feels more like family than friendship.  

Right out of the gate we want to make the journey as smooth and as easy as possible.  We give you pro tips on things like getting the right insurance, finding camp or filling up on water, and of course we're only a shout away as you learn the ins and outs of your new rig.  We're not just your van builder, we're a resource, like a big brother for the open road.
